WHO AM I?

Hi! My name is Haley Garrity and I live in Cardiff by The Sea, California (Originally from the East Coast). I have my Master's in Social Work from NYU and I'm working towards my LCSW. I have a life-long passion for working with children, and a background in Developmental Psychology. As much as I love children, I also have a passion for health and wellness. I have spent the past 3 years learning about natural healing through plant medicine and recently completed a course in Herbalism. With my background in Psychology, I believe it is critical to nurture the connection between mind and body, and my recent studies on health and wellness have helped solidify that connection.
I was diagnosed with Psoriasis at age 18, and have experienced the full spectrum of pharmaceuticals and western medicine, including highly potent steroids. I spent 9 years experimenting with topical + oral steroids, but realized that it was not a longterm solution and it was not good for my body. So I began dedicating myself to creating a natural solution that works for me, and contains no harmful ingredients. From this, came Haley's Herbals, a line of products which aid in healing, hydration, and nourishment of the skin.
